Caulbert Smith is the Campton United SC Executive Director.  

Before arriving at Campton United Soccer Club, Smith spent 3-½ years as the Associate Director of Coaching for Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA).  During his time at IYSA he oversaw the Olympic Development Program, which had over 1200 players participating during the 2016–17 season.  He also assisted in the training and development of local coaches as an Instructor for both the E & D License Course.

Prior to joining IYSA, Smith served as Director of Coaching for Cary Soccer Association, a program in the Northwest Suburbs.  Smith oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Soccer program, both the Competitive and Recreational platforms.  He has coached at both the collegiate and high school levels and serves as a mentor to many coaches throughout the state and beyond.

Caulbert has been married to Karen for 28 years and together they have two post college-age children, Kristen, 24 and Nathan, 22.  Whenever he is not working, or spending time with his family, you can find Smith playing his guitar at an Open Mic event somewhere near Lake in the Hills, where they live, or on stage playing in his band Funk City.

Phil Knorr is responsible for guiding the U11 to U23 Boys Program at Campton United.   A native of Columbus Ohio, Phil relocated to the Chicagoland area and served 3 years as Assistant Director of Coaching for Cary Soccer Association.  Phil currently holds a USSF “A” Youth coaching license, has served as an Olympic Development Program Coach (ODP) and an IYSA Coaching Education Instructor.  

Phil’s 20 years of youth, high school and collegiate coaching experience includes:
•    Technical Director, as well as Coach/Trainer, for Alliance SC (OH-South)
•    Assistant Men’s Coach at Capital University in Columbus, OH
•    Special Olympics Coach
•    Top Soccer Coach

As a player, Phil was an All-Conference Selection and Team Captain at Ohio Dominican University.

Scotty is responsible for guiding the U11 to U23 Girls Program at Campton United SC. Scotty Joins Campton United with over 15 years of elite level girls coaching experience.  Most recently Scott has spent the last 4 1/2  years with Sockers FC as a Director of Coaching / Operations and ECNL Head Coach.  Scotty also has experience with Chicago Fire Juniors (Girls Director) and Toro EGA Academy (Girls Director) in Nebraska where he worked with their National League Girls Teams.  

Scotty holds a USSF B Coaching License and NSCAA Premier Diploma. Scott currently lives in Aurora with his wife Kelli, son Lennon and daughter Kolbi.

Louie is responsible for guiding the U5  to U10 Boys & Girls Development at Campton United. Louie garnered All-area, All-conference, and All-state accolades as well as being voted MVP his final 2 years of his prep career. Following high school, Louie joined the Chicago Fire Super 20's where he helped his team in winning a national title in 2008.

Louie played college ball at Northern Illinois University where he was named team MVP his senior year.

Upon graduating with a Bachelors degree in Sociology, Louie played for Sandvikens AIK of Sweden, SPVGG Bad Homburg of Germany, and most recently with Lidköping FK of Sweden. While at Lidköping, Louie played an important role in helping the team win the league and consequently gain promotion into Division 2.  He currently resides in St. Charles.
