7/27 BACK TO SCHOOL CLASSIC TOURNAMENT UPDATE 7/27 UPDATE Chicago Fire Night:
To kick off the new soccer season we will attending a Fire game the night before we start our season. On Sunday 8/8 as a club we will attend the Fire game at 8:00 pm. We will be purchasing around 100 tickets. We will have tickets in corner Kick area of the stadium. We will be getting a group discount. Tickets will cost $20 a ticket. Please plan to attend a meeting on Thursday 8/5 if you wanted to be on the tournament commiittee.. It will be at the Larkin center at 7:00 pm. Kyle's Summer camp: Kyle will be hosting his annual summer camp the week of August 2nd. It will be the Elgin Sports complex ( Field 9) from 9:00 am to noon all 5 days ( Monday - Friday). The cost is $125 a player. KICKER CAMP:
Remind everyone that are season starts 8/9. We will have camp each night from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Players should get to camp at 4:45 pm each day, report to soccer field 1 each day.

There will not be summer sessions on Friday's 7/16, 7/23 and 7/30. 7/8 UPDATE (THURSDAY) We are going to cancel the session for 9: 00 am Today due to it raining now and how wet it is. We will update the site later today in regards to 3 vs 3 tonight. 6/27 UPDATE We are going to delay the start to 1:00 pm today and end around 8:00 pm. Hope to see everyone at 1:00 pm, field # 21 behind the Larkin Center. Do not forget to bring a appetizer, side dish or dessert for around 20 people and drinks for your family. We do have access to the Larkin Center if bad weather does come in. Thanks 6/23 UPDATE We will be conducting the 5:00 pm session tonight. Due to the Rain and T-storms in the area we have to cancel the 9:00 am training. We will post on the web one hour prior to each session if we plan to cancel a training session. This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Thank you 6/8 UPDATE RED STAR KICKER DAY: On Saturday 7/10 as a club we will be having a tailgate party (4:00 pm) and attend the Red Star game at 6:00 pm. We will be purchasing around 200 tickets. We will have tickets in two different areas of the stadium. We will be getting a group discount. Tickets will be in the Premier level (sections 127 or 128), the cost is $28 a ticket and that includes a Red Star t-shirt, all those seats are stadium seating. The other price is $12 a ticket and those seats are bench seats in (Sections 121-123), with No t-shirt. If we get enough players to attend the game our kids will get to play soccer on the field at half time, some players can be ball boys/girls (but you have to be 12). Also some players after the game get to meet some of the players. Every player will get todo a lesat one thing. It will be another day of soccer & family fun, for the tailgate party we will get lower parking fee's and get an area were the kids can play 3 vs 3 in the parking lot- street soccer. . 6/1 UPDATE KICKERS HOSTING TRYOUTS ALL WEEK LONG FOR OUR SUMMER PROGRAM AND THE 2010-2011 SOCCER SEASON TRYOUTS ARE TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY & FRIDAY (JUNE 1-4) For details click on tryouts, hope to see you tonight. 5/31 UPDATe We competed in the Park Ridge Tournament Memorial day Tournament. Last year we won the overall club championship. The results for this year have not been posted yet, but we did vey well. We had 5 teams win their championship and two teams take 3rd.U-10A girls did not compete U-10B girls played well and took 3rd place, they were only 1 goal from playing for the championship U-11A girls played in the highest level of U12 to have stronger competition and took 3rd place, only mssing 2nd because they allowed 1 more goal. U-11B girls played well all weekend competing against teams in higher divisions. U-13 girls advanced to the finials by winning a shootout and then winning the championship game. U-09 boys took the championship U-10a boys took the championship U-10b boys played hard all weekend against strong competition U-11 boys took the championship U-12 boys just missed advancing by losing two games each by a goal, but played hard all weekend. U-13 boys took the championship 5/26 UPDATES: 14th annual Back To School Classic Tournament information posted - Looking for a great way to start your 2010-2011 soccer season, come play in our tournament. We have 2-3 divisions for every age, so teams play teams of similar ability. A tournament that gives the players TROPHIES, not just a medal. A tournament at one single site. 5/24 UPDATE Over the weekend we had four teams compete in the Illinois Cup: U-10 girls went 4-0 and were crowned the Champion U-11 girls last years state champion, went 2-1 and missed going to the finial U-09 boys went to the finials and lost 4-3 in a hard played game and were crowed Finialist U-10 boys went 2-1 and just missed going to the finial | Illinois Cup Champions & Finalists |  |
5/18 UPDATES On Wednesday 5/19 the Kickers United F.C. are hosting a coaches soccer clinic for the coaches of Elgin's Parks & Recreation and former AYSO coaches. The clinic is at the Elgin Sports Complex on soccer field # 5, it will begin at 6:30 pm. Announces Strategic Alliance Kickers United F.C. ( KUFC Premier ) of Elgin, IL is pleased to announce a new and stratigic alliance with the Academy United Soccer Club. The two clubs will work together to improve and enhance the female soccer development programs currently available to High School students in Illinois and Region II, while focusing on joint community impact initiatives and tournament staging for elite national and international players. "KUFC has a history of soccer success in the Fox Valley area, State Cup Tournaments and a great reputation as host of the Back To School Classic Tournament " said Peter Glon, Director of Coaching for The Academy United SC. We wish him the best of luck in his future. His summer team (chicago breeze) is no longer part of our program. The Breeze team s not playing in the IWSL U-23 (tuesday night league) or playing in the WPSL.
